Emirates’ new 777 first class suites are one of the best products in the air. They are only available on Emirates’ newest 777-300ERs, which typically fly to Europe and Japan. However, schedule changes recently have sent some of these incredible planes to the US. Earlier this month, we discovered that Emirates is using its new 777s on the JFK to DXB route until the end of July.
Now, you can add another US route to the list…at least temporarily. On July 16, 2020, Emirates flight EK236 between Chicago (ORD) and Dubai (DXB) will be serviced by Emirates’ 777-300ER tail number A6-EQI. This two-year-old aircraft was the second 777-300ER delivered with Emirates’ new first class suites.
A6-EQI is currently in Dubai, and will make the flight to ORD at 09:55 on July 15th, before returning to Dubai on July 16th. Sadly, this aircraft change is only temporary. After July 16th, the ORD to DXB route will be operated by Emirates’ older 777s.
The first class cabin of EK236 is completely empty, according to Expert Flyer; you can see the distinctive 1 – 1- 1- layout below. Unfortunately, no partner award space is available.
